If you write a sentence or word, you can simply press the [ENTER] key one of two times to insert an image below the text: http://en.support.wordpress.com/images

Hi, I may have confused you, I want to be able to lay the text/words over an image… so they actually placed on top of the photos. i.e.. and arrow pointing to a shoe saying ‘I love this 2″ heel, it’s awesome”.

Gotcha! This can’t be done within the editor because text and image are two separate elements. The image in the example post you gave me already has the text editing within the image itself: http://mermagblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/SpringMixBoysArtsyAlthletePicks2-300×478.jpg
