image and text in portfolios

I am a total code novice and am trying to set up a portfolio page on my site. It works (hurrah!) but the text is in a space completely separate from the accompanying images. What can I do? Thanks

Your website waitinginwalthamstow.wordpress.com is using TwentyEleven theme which does not support Portfolio feature.
You can instead use Portfolio Shortcode to set up portfolios on your posts and pages.
Could you please provide a link to the page where you have set up a portfolio and are having issues?
