Image appearing off the left side of the page instead after I align it left ?!

    I’m using the wp.com version for my blog. Ive tried the usual instructions for wrapping text around an image but nothing works. I do this:

    1. Type the text onto your page or post.
    2. Insert an Image block above the text.
    3. Using the toolbar option, align the image the left or right as shown in the GIF below. The text will wrap around the image.

    On the page the text wraps around perfectly, but when I view the Preview the image is far off the page to the left. How do I fix this??

    Hi there, the image going out to the left of the text area is a feature of the theme you are using. If you add a group block, and then add your image and text content within the group block, and make sure that Layout in the right settings sidebar is set to use content width, that will keep the image within that block.

    I created a draft post titled wpcom staff test for image alignment that you can look at to see what I mean.

    For existing posts, if you have the block list view section open, click to select all the content blocks, and you can use group from the three-dots dropdown menu to group those blocks.
