Image appears differently than in editor

    I am trying to make the image larger on my home page using Appleton. The image appears the size I like in the editor, then when I go to [preview it is much smaller. I am not sure how to adjust this.

    I am using Appleton theme. The background of the footer is black. when I go into styles to change it, it tells me it is white. I woudl liek to change it to white and can’t figure out how to. Newbie, Obviously! Thank you.
