Image Block and Featured Image misbehaving [Photo Theme]

    Hi,

    I am using the Photo theme with a number of basic pages to display images on my portfolio website. However I have two problems, and I’m unsure how to solve them. These are:

    1. When I insert an image block, it duplicates onto the page resulting in a large and small version of the image. Here’s two images showing the insertion of a single image, and showing the preview of the page: Link. I only want the single image I insert…
    2. The last issue was found when trying to solve my first issue :] . The Featured Image feature does not work (although it is not needed right now, I just wondered why). Here are images showing the featured image being add, and the preview from that too: Link

    Not all themes display Featured Images the same way.

    In fact, you’re seeing double because that’s how your theme handles Featured Images, it’s weird I know. The person who designed the theme though that would be cool I suppose.

    In your Customizer, under Content Options, you’ll find options for your Featured Images. I suggest unchecking “Automatically use first image in post.”
