Image caption not showing

I have input image captions to my image posts however it is not showing on my live page.

Thank you for the advice. Yes, what I did was re-edit the picture>Edit post>change the picture in my post with pictures with captions>Publish.
The when i checked the new post, it has alt text, but i did not see my captions.
My template is dyad2 and I am running the free version of wordpress.

Are you adding the captions at My Site ->Media or by editing the post itself at My Site ->Blog Posts? You need to edit the post and add the captions there to have them appear on the images.

Yes, thats the post I edited.
Do you mean that i need to out the caption below the pictures manually?
I tought it should be added while editing the caption the media aling with its title, alt title, caption and descriptions?

That depends on when and where you edit the image.
When you upload an image from the Add Media button in the editor you can edit the image there before inserting into the post. If you then add a caption it should appear on the image.
If you don’t edit it there and just insert the image, you can add the caption afterwards in the editor: click on the image, click the caption icon, and insert the caption.

If that’s what you’ve been doing and it’s not working, let me know.
But if the image is already in a post, and you then go to My Site ->Media to edit it and insert the caption there, it will not get added to posts where the image has already been inserted, unless the image is in a gallery.

Thanks for the advice. Here’s the chronology.
1. I add a media on my wordpress account.
2. I edit the picture, i putting my title, alt title and also my caption
3. Edit my published post and insert the picture from my media
4. Re-publlish.
5. Check my live site and theere is no caption -

Yes, sorry.
I decided to redo the post and it is finally showing with the same picture I attached to the previous post.
Not sure what happened, but seems like this is the easiest and fastest way.
