Image Caption Not Showing Up!

Hi guys,
In my latest post with pictures, my captions aren’t showing up. Normally, I simply upload the pictures, add text in the “caption” box, and save changes. The images automatically have a nice white border around them and my caption. For some reason, it didn’t happen this time! Could a setting have changed? Did I randomly press a wrong button somewhere?Thanks for the help!

There’s no setting for captions or no captions: your images simply don’t have captions. Perhaps you forgot to click Save Changes or some other step. You can edit the post, click on each image in the visual editor, click the Edit icon, type in the caption, click Update; click Update post when you’re done with all the images.

I went back and made sure it was all saved and updated-is there any other reason why it changed on me?

I have the same problem – I type in the captions I want and even try changing the alignment and it’s not saving. Started yesterday, gave up on that post, did another today and same problem.

Firefox/10.0.2
Have cleared cache and manually went through in order to keep some cookies, deleted everything else.
Updated to Firefox 11 – at this point restarted browser and attempted to fix the issue but it didn’t resolve.
I don’t have any extensions or add-ons.
The link regarding cookies doesn’t seem to help me with Firefox 11, however I should be able to accept cookies without an issue.
Javascript is enabled.
I tried using I.E. as a browser and the problem still persists. I CANNOT get the posts to save caption text nor save positioning.

I did all your troubleshooting tips and everything is definitely ok/up to date on that end. The strange things is, the next pictures I posted worked as usual (with captions) with no problems whatsoever. I didn’t change anything about how I posted them; and I’ve gone back to check the one uncooperative post multiple times. So weird.

I too am having this same issue with image captions.
I’ve also done all the troubleshooting suggested above without success. -

Your username is not linked to a blog and we Volunteers have no idea which blog you are referring to. Will you please post an active link starting with http:// to the blog in question and also provide an active link to a post or page that’s an example of whay you refer to. -
All previous blog entries are fine, just this one posted has the image caption problem.
I appreciate the efforts of the volunteers and WordPress.
