Image captions suddenly not working

  Hi, when I add images to my blog posts, the box to add a caption below the photo has disappeared. I can add them in a gallery block, but not a standard image. It was working a few days ago, but not today. I’ve tried images that were already in my media folder and brand new images that I have just uploaded. Please help!

  On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com.

  If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host, please ask for help from the WordPress.org community at https://wordpress.org/support/forums instead.

  Hi there,
  I am having the same problem here as from yesterday. Inserted an image, clicked to add a caption and it is all blank and won’t accept text.

  I have checked on pages I have previously added, gone into edit and all the captions have vanished, yet are showing in published version? Also custom colour options are still missing.

  Never had these issues before, so would appreciate any assistance.
