Image Carousel CSS on the top of page

    Hey,

I want to create an image carousel with thumbnail of images on my blog without scrolling on the top of my pages because there is a lot of white space and people seem to like the drawings I make.

Is there some CSS code that I can use to make this? I see that there are some plugins for this but I don’t really need the business features otherwise so I want to avoid that.

    Thanks!

    hi,

Image galleries on WordPress.com are a great way to share your pictures with your friends, family, and your followers. An image gallery will display a set of small images attached to a particular post or page. Readers can click on any image to launch a full-size carousel that allows them to scroll through the entire gallery one image at a time. With the slideshow option, images will automatically move from one to the next after a few seconds.

  • Hi there,

It’s not possible to create a carousel with CSS. CSS can only be used to change how something that’s already on your site looks. It cannot be used to change how your site works, or to add something that’s not already there.

We don’t have any theme that adds just a photo slideshow to the site header. For something like that you’ll need to use a plugin, and that will require the Business Plan.
