Image connect to URL on social media
-
The image that shows up when I share my URL isn’t one in my media files and I cannot change it. I do not want this image to be the static image shared for my URL on social media posts.

Hi @fillenoirelife, have you tried setting your featured image? Make sure it’s large enough to display on your social platforms:
If you need more help, could you share a link to the post?

I have done that. I have gone so far as to deactivate and delete my Yoast SEO and upload a new SEO and go through the process again of setting my feature image. Nothing corrects it. It does not even show the most recent upload as it was doing at one point it is a static image that I cannot even find on my media library. Please help.

Hi there,
On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com, so it sounds like you’re using the open source version of WordPress made on WordPress.org instead.
If you’re using Yoast SEO to set Open Graph images on your site, please contact their support directly for help with this.
For general help with the version of WordPress you’re using, you can ask the WordPress.org community over at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

Yep, that site is hosted with Hostgator.com, not us.
Please contact Yoast support directly, as they’ll be best able to help you with this.
