Image Delete Issues
-
Why won’t my images delete? I cannot post any new blogs because there’s not enough space to upload new photos. I go through and delete photos permanently, only to reload my site and have those same images still therein the Media Library. I have been attempting to delete photos for the last 35 minutes and not one has actually deleted. Please help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you delete any images from your Media Library they are removed from wordpress.com servers and will result in a 404 page not found error in every post and page you embedded them into. So be clear on that please. See here https://en.support.wordpress.com/space-upgrade/

Are you deleting them from posts and pages you embedded them into?
Did you clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache after you deleted them so you are not viewing old cached copies? -
I just cleared my browser cache and it didn’t change the result. Regardless of whether the photo has been used in a previous blog post, or if it was just recently uploaded (and not yet attached to any blog post) I can’t seem to delete the photo. Here are the steps I’m following and the results that I am getting….. Write new post-> Click on Add media -> Click on image -> Select “delete permanently”… at this point the photo appears to be deleted. After I log out and then log back in I follow the same procedure Write new post->Click on Add Media… and the picture is still there.

The photos need to be deleted directly in the Media Library –
Dashboard >> Media Library – (I think that’s the correct link) – that is the only place to delete permanently pictures
