Image disappeared: did WordPress remove it?

  I’ve just noticed that an image from one of my blog posts (about a month old) has disappeared. It still shows up in Google Images but is mysteriously absent from my media library.

  It was a parody of a logo, so I’m wondering if WordPress removed it at the complaint of the organisation I was parodying. Is there any way to find this out?
