Image displays broken link (404)
-
Hi, since my traffic is 6 times lower than what it used to be, I checked for broken links out of curiosity on http://www.brokenlinkcheck.com and noticed that many of my pictures on my blog direct to broken links (404 error) when enlarged.
This happens whether I use Chrome on my computer or Safari on my iPhone. I enabled 3rd party cookies.
Here are examples of posts on which images lead to broken links:

Hi,
Every image I checked in the first three of those posts was linked to a nonexistent page. That’s why clicking on the images produces the 404 errors, though it’s not clear why they are linked to those pages that don’t exist.
Each media image from the files inserted into a post or page on a site may either link to nothing or to one of the following:
1. the attachment page/post
2. the media file
3. a custom URLTwo ways that the numerous 404 errors might have been produced would be 1.) the corresponding media files have been routinely edited, or 2.) the images are linked to custom URLs that don’t exist. Have you been editing media files or custom URLs systematically. If not, then I’d suggest that you add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar of this topic to call for staff attention.
