Image doesn't display
-
The image next to my blog title hasn’t displayed correctly for the last two days on both Firefox and IE. It just displays the name of my site again! I haven’t altered anything, so why is it doing this all of a sudden?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m getting a 404 error if I try to open the image in a new window. Any chance the image link has changed or the image been deleted?

Maybe you deleted it by mistake in Media>Library, or maybe something went wrong on WP’s side. The image URL shows that it had been cropped by the uploader. That’s always unsafe, because the cropping tool is rather cranky. So better create a new version of your image in the appropriate dimensions (50×50 pixels) and upload that version.

This has happened twice now. I’ve removed the old one (that disappeared) and uploaded the same one once again. It looks smaller now, but never mind.
-
As I already said, it’s safer to create and upload a 50×50 image instead of uploading the old one and letting the uploader crop it.

That will continue to happen. When the cropper comes into play image quality is lost. That’s why we recommend using an image editor and presizing all images prior to uploading them. If you do that image quality will be retained.

Okay I just wanted you to know that bringing the cropper into play results in loss of image quality.

Such a tiny image has to be simple: the one you’ve used isn’t really suitable.
Perhaps you’ll be interested in a different possibility:
