Image doesn’t display on category / index view

    Hello,

    I’ve a weird problem with the display of my image. If you look at : http://sculpture-bronze-choisnet.com/blog/?p=20 you’ll see a picture in the post.
    But if you look at http://sculpture-bronze-choisnet.com/blog/?cat=7 you’ll see the same post with no picture in it.

    I’ve checked and my blog is set up to show entire post not summary. Any ideas ?

    Hello there. You are posting to the wrong support forum for your software. Go to the footer of your blog and find the “powered by WordPress” link. Click “WordPress” and you arrive at wordpress.ORG.

    :-( Never guess they were a difference. Can’t you just have a quick look please ? I’m doing that for a friends and I’m not pro at all :-(

    I’m sorry but I can’t do that. Here at wordpress.COM we do not have FTP access to blogs and we cannot upload themes into our blogs. The only themes we can use have been adapted to run on our mulituser software.

    There are days here on the wordpress.COM support forum where 30% of the threads being posted are being posted by bloggers who ought to be posting to http://wordpress.ORG/support.

    So I’m sorry but as I said above we cannot help you here at wordpress.COM with an issue you are having with wordpress.ORG install.

    This is just a general comment since we have absolutely no experience with themes outside of wordpress.COM, but most likely this was a decision of the theme designer. Some themes display images and full posts in the categories pages, and some do not. It is entirely up to the theme designer. Since you have access to the underlying theme files (something we don’t have here) it is something that you could change, provided you have experience with programming in PHP script and working with/making calls to MySQL databases.

    My suggestion is to contact the theme designer and ask them whether this is the case. If it is, explain what you want, and they might even give you the code and tell you were to put it in the PHP script files.
