image excerpt from external URL

  Hello everyone,

  I need some help and advice. I have googled but I have not found an easy solution to functionality I would desire.

  I would like to get a image gallery with images and texts coming from external websites, instead of my own blog posts and featured images. Basically, I am trying to find a wordpress plugin with the same functionality as “attach link” and “Share” buttons in facebook and linkedin, respectively.

  Does anybody know something about this?

  That is a WordPress.ORG question, not a WordPress.COM one (as we cannot use plugins here) and you need to be in their forums for help with that.

  You might find something like that with WordPress.ORG. These forums are exclusively for WordPress.COM, a different platform—there is nothing like that available here.

  If it’s your worst blunder today, then you are probably having a pretty good day—lots of folks are confused that there are different versions of WordPress.
