image for site title does not show up

  When I create a link to my blog site on Facebook, the image for the site does not show up.

  Under Customize, I uploaded an image under Logo, thinking that this will show up as the main image.

  Can you please tell me where to upload an image for the main site?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Your Blavatar, not the logo/blog header, is used when sharing your blog’s main page on Facebook.

  Also please review Facebook Image Thumbnail to learn which images are used by Facebook for various things like posts, home page etc.

  I uploaded a blavatar as instructed. I cut and paste into FB and still no image. Pls advise.

  Looks like your blavatar isn’t effective yet. I still see the WordPress.com icon in the browser’s address bar as shown in the first screenshot in the Blavatar support document. May be we should give it some time.

  Well, I see the image where my photo should go and also beside by blog name when I go to my blogs. However, it is not up on the main address bar. Hmmmm…. Any thoughts on how long this will take to reconcile? Anything you can do on your end?

  I don’t know how long it takes. Neither am I, as a volunteer, able to do anything about this.

  I just added a blavatar and it did not update immediately. I will keep an eye and let you know when it updates.

  Just noticed this info on the Blavatar support document. So I will wait longer.

  Please note it may take a few hours before you see the new one if you change your Blavatar. This is because of our cache, but you can try clearing your browser’s local cache in case the Blavatar doesn’t refresh after a while.
