Image format Dyad theme

  I’m having a convoluted problem with the new Dyad theme. I have a custom menu where I have set up Works in Progress. I’ve set featured images and occasionally set the post as an Image. When I do that, the page images get a little wonky.

  Ghost outlines of posts can be seen when I hover over the page, and I can click through to individual posts.

  I attempted to repeat the problem with another WIP, using a different post image and got the same two photo mashup. The two images were the last two added to my media library.

  There is probably some sort of html mess, but I can’t figure it out.

  I was able to clear the problem by changing the post format from Image to Standard.

  Any help would be appreciated. I can simply not use Image formats, but I’d like to keep that as an option.

  Thanks, @kathrynwp… sorry for the confusion.

  It’s seems to be more just the “serial” sub-category “Dinner Party,” and the two photos that are mashed together. When I changed the format to Image in the most recent post in the “Andrew” subcategory, and didn’t change anything else, the same two images popped up like the screen shot.

  “Dinner Party” is the only group of posts that had an Image format post included.

  I’ve also tried clearing my cache. I’m using Safari 9.0.1. on a MacBook Air (OS X El Capitan – 10.11.1). I also tried looking at the site from Firefox (42.0), and the same problem exists.

  I was able to replicate the issue on my test site — this definitely looks like a problem in the theme.

  Interestingly, it only seems to occur when the oldest (first) post in an archive/category has the image post format.

  Our developers will have a look and we’ll keep you posted here.

  That’s is what I’m experiencing. I’m going to change the format back to Standard so the category homepage looks right. If you need me to change it back for the developers, please let me know.

  Thank you for your quick response and attention to this. Appreciate your help. Otherwise, I’m loving the new theme.
