I am creating pages with image galleries – all well and good, they work fine. On the same page, however, I’d like to add separate images above and below the gallery that I do not want included in the gallery. Every time I insert one of these images they are automatically duplicated in the gallery meaning I have two copies of these images on the page – one in the image gallery and one above/below. When I go to delete the image from the gallery, a few moments later the image in the post that I want to keep also disappears. How do I post separate images on a page without including them in an image gallery? Many thanks.

Hi. Perhaps this post by justjennifer might help you. See the section “Can I have more than one Gallery in my Post?” for details on how to specify which images show on your gallery:
