Image gallery on sidebar

  I want to put gallery on sidebar and when image is clicked i want it to open in new page in big gallery, is there any way to do this in the way that person who going to manage blog later (who has low computer skills) can figure it out, i mean is there some plugin/widget with easy usage that have this functionalityt?

  If you are talking about a WordPress.com blog, you can put a Gallery in a text widget in your blog’s sidebar using the Gallery ID in the shortcode.

  Since Gallery is tied to a Post or Page, you’d have to upload and insert the Gallery into a Post or Page first.
