Can I add or create an image gallery or slide show if images?
within wordpress.com. If not this would be a great feature to have within the wordpress.com system.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I do not have that option in my dashboard. Is it because I have not up to 3.4.2?

Further to this, normally the image button would offer a gallery option on a new post, but that option did not appear on one of my posts. Is there a way to ‘force’ inject a gallery?

I’m sorry but we cannot help you here at WordPress.com with those sites as they are not being hosted by WordPress.com. This is the correct forum for your software http://wordpress.ORG/support/ If you have not registered a WordPress.org username account yet you can do so on the top right hand corner of the page I just linked to so you can post to those support forums.

Not that I know of. I rely on justjennifers’ site when working with the gallery > http://wp.me/p8gVp-L -
fretlessjohn, you need to upload images through the post/page in question to attach them first, then the gallery option will be visible.
