Image gallery question
-
If I move a cursor over an image in a gallery, the image file name appears, which dose not look nice. See e.g. here:

Hi there,
For most of the gallery styles, the pop up description is automatically included. For the default gallery, the description is included below the image, and for the round gallery, there is no pop up at all. There is no way to remove these.
You can review the styles and what you can and cannot do with your galleries right here:

The popup is very nice, but I was talking about different thing. In addition to popup the image file name is shown, which can look like 12456-34567.jpg. That does not look great, this name can be on the top of the popup, so the popup is not visible, and one needs to move cursor to see it. It looks more like a defect.

Ah, I see what you are speaking of! That is the title of each image, and by default the filename that was originally attached to the image is inserted as the title.
You can remove or attach a different name as you are adding each image to the Gallery. When you click “Add Media,” as you click each image, on the right hand side of the screen, there will be a field for “title.” You can change that for each image to whatever you’d like it to say. That way when someone hovers over each image the popup will be what you desire.
