Hi. I have recently created a blog and I faced a problem where my images would not appear in my site even though I am able to successfully upload it in my post itself — It just refuse to appear on my site, ohfeelings.wordpress.com. This happened after I changed my theme to Origin by DevPress. Please assist. Thanks!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you’re talking about the images for the front page, then you need to set a featured image for each post. In the post editor, you’ll see a ‘featured image’ module, click the link in it and when it takes you into the image screen, just choose the image you want. Wait for it to appear in the module and then close the image screen window and update the post. To do it from scratch, when you are doing a new post, set the featured image by clicking the link in the image screen, then click the ‘insert into post’ and then when it appears in your post you’re ready to continue or publish.

Themes like Origin and Imbalance 2 use featured images on their home pages.

Here’s the Support info help post on featured images:

    Featured Images

Read all the way down the page as it’s split into different parts.

PS. If you don’t see the ‘featured image’ on your post editor page, then look at the top of that page where you’ll see a ‘screen options’ tab. Click that and put a check mark into the ‘featured images’ option and the module should appear on the page below. You can move it (and any other module) into a different position on the page according to your tastes. :)
