Image Handing in WordPress.Com vs. My Hosted WordPress Blog

  I’m running 2.62 on my “real” blog as well as dealing with a couple of wordpress.com blogs.

  Images uploading works exponentially better (and is more robust) on the wordpress.com blogs than on the blog I host on my own domain.

  Is this functionality that will be added soon, or is there something I can do to my hosted blog to make the image uploading more up-to-date?

  Sometimes there are changes that are slated for a future version of the self-hosted software that makes it into .COM first. Some of the current differences will show up in the self-hosted version in 2.7 I’m pretty sure.

  There could also be times when something is added to the self-hosted version but never make it to the .COM version.

  There also may be differences with your web host that are causing some difficulties.
