Image has a blue question mark when trying to crop Gravatar

    When I upload a photo and try to crop it for my Gravatar is shows as a blue question mark. I’ve tried different photos (2 out of 16 work), I’ve tried different browsers and different computers. The image is 2 MB. Any ideas what’s happening?

    Hey there, that’s a strange case.

    Can you clarify a few things?

    – Are all of the photos 2MB?

    – Are all of ones that fail, failing consistently regardless of browser?

    If the same images are failing over and over regardless of browser, would you be willing to upload a few of them to a different service so we can test them here? You could use dropbox, or set up a free WordPress.com site (skip upgrades) and upload them to https://wordpress.com/media .
