Image Header Missing
-
Hey folks, I’m using the Sapphire theme and late this morning, for some reason, the header image stopped appearing on the blog. Everything else looks normal — except that there’s a blank space at the top of the page where the header image used to be.
Anybody have any idea why?
It’s not a caching issue on my home machine — the problem appears with two browsers and on multiple machines.
Here’s the address

Please tell us how you are trying to load the image (ie CSS or via the uploader) and the URL of the image.

Never mind I think I see the issue:
#header{
background: url(n) no-repeat center; It somehow lost the URL of the image that you’re trying to use. Download it off of your Manage -> Uploads page if you don’t have a copy handy and reupload it.
Hope this helps,

drmike,
Thanks very much for the help — but keep in mind that I’m not using a custom header. Just the standard one that is part of the Sapphire theme. I have another blog that uses the same theme and it’s showing the same header just fine. That’s avidwishlist.Just now I tried switching the theme to something else and then going back to Sapphire — same problem, no change.
Any ideas?
Thanks much,

Also, I just opened the stylesheets from both my blogs using: Presentation > Edit > Edit CSS > View Stylesheet > Save). I compared the two using Textwrangler. It finds the two files to be identical. But one works and the other doesn’t.
Pretty strange.

Strange as it gives the URL for the header image in one place and then further down gives that.
Please send in a feedback with specifics as to what the issue is. Also include a link to this thread so that staff is aware of what we’ve discussed. Looks like it gets declaired twice. Rather weird…
Hope this helps,

Upper right corner of any of your Dashboard pages. You should see a link labeled feedback.

I sent a message to Support. (From the menu bar along the top of the blog homepage [when I’m logged in], I selected “my account > contact support”).
Think that’ll work or should I send to Feedback as well?
Thanks again,

The same problem was reported by me earlier yesterday evening. I reported here as well as feedback. I got an E-mail from WP staff saying its their issue and resolved it too for me. However, Snap Preview option was also not working for me and reported the same, which they said, would be good shortly. Still the same problem persists. What i could say is WP does know this problem so they should be resolving it quickly, I believe so.
