Image "heads" cut off
-
Why are all images over-cropped?
This image is 240 wide X 300 tall.
Well within guidelines. Why is my head cut off ????
**** How can the FEATURED IMAGE be made to only appear in the right bar, and the “regular” image–not the featured image– appear in the Post?

I don’t see an image in that post. I see a header image of an older woman exposing lots of cleavage but the heads in the header image are not cut off.

You can use desktop image editing software or free online image editing software to optimize and properly size your images prior to uploading them. Preparing and resizing your images prior to uploading means (1) there will be no compromise of image quality, (2) you will not be wasting your space for media and (3) you won’t experience any problems so you won’t end up troubleshooting images. -
It’s been cropped & optimized in photo editing software.
***** My question is still why a 240 px X 300 px photo is being cropped?
What size is acceptable and will NOT be cropped?
I read that 300 x 300 is standard.
So I assumed a rectangle less than that should be used “as is”. -
