Image Hover for photo gallery – Soho theme

  I have an image gallery of 98 photos – I want to add an image hover effect to each photo and would like advice on the best plugin to use to maintain the gallery.
  The photos are pattern designs and I would like to add a second image as the image hover – no text.

  Here in the WordPress.com forums we mostly provide support for free WordPress.com sites that can’t use plugins at all, so we simply don’t have the expertise needed for this type of recommendation here.
