I have an EPS crystal clear image for my header. When I try to resize the image to the header size no matter how I save it the picture isn’t clear.
Does anyone know how this can be fixed? I created the header in publisher and saved it as an image every way possible.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes. If you want high quality images you will never rely on the WordPress.com cropper as using it will result in loss of image quality. Prior to uploading any image into your blog you will optimize and presize every image in either a desktop image editing software or online image editing software to fit the space you intend to use it in, regardless if it’s a header image, or an image in a post, page or sidebar. Doing that means you will also not be wasting your space for images and other media or experience any problems with images that you must troubleshoot to correct.

I just tried an online editing software, and it is still giving me the same poor quality image.

Here’s a clear version of your image, in the right dimensions:

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! How did you do that? I will be changing the cool 2 save part of the header soon, and I would love to know how I can edit the header.

I can’t thank you enough, it looks great! :)

    You’re welcome.

I took this image of yours:

opened it in Photoshop, scaled it down to 190px high, then turned the canvas to 940×198 and added the text.

Gotcha! I wouldn’t be able to do that because I don’t have Photoshop :(
