How does one change the size of uploaded images? I do see the little box asking about width, but I cannot get it to respond. Most of this used to be simple; it’s been upgraded.

Hi there!
I am assuming that you mean to change the size of uploaded images while editing a post or page. With the Gutenberg Block Editor, there should be styling options that appear on the right side of the screen when you’ve selected (clicked on) the image that you are trying to edit.
If the block styling options aren’t showing, there is a cog with a block background at the top-right corner of the screen that should toggle the block styling options sidebar on and off.
There are three different ways you can resize your photo:

The first way is by dragging one of the white/orange circle selection points around the image that show when you’ve selected the image, and dragging it in the direction that you want to resize.
The second way is by selecting a preset image size in the “Image Size” drop down menu on the right-side of the screen.
The third way is by changing the width and height manually by inputting your own values for the “width” and “height” fields under the “Image dimensions”, or by selecting a percentage value underneath the width and height fields.
I hope that one of these solutions work for you!

Hi there,
I just wanted to note that the white/orange circle selection point that I mentioned in the first method of image resizing may be a different color depending on your WordPress Dashboard color scheme, but the process of dragging the circle to resize the image works all the same.
I apologize for any confusion that might have caused!
