Image in sidebar?
-
How do I simply put an image in my sidebar and add a link to it?
See http://blog.sustainablemiddleclass.com/ (Obama image) for an example of what I want to do.

Please search the FAQ before posting here. Most often the answer is already there.

Wow. I thought I was fairly decent at computers, wpvstp, but these instructions are confusing and circular and in some cases incomplete. Is there not a simple:
Step 1
Step 2
Step 3…. anywhere that I can follow?
This is the image I uploaded: http://www.moneyedpoliticians.com/Front%20Cover-75dpi-JPEG.jpg
It now resides in a page, I think, somewhere, but I want it on the sidebar.

I have to agree with you that WordPress’ FAQ aren’t always complete, let alone step by step.
The image you uploaded does not reside on a page, although it may seem like it. It does reside on your blog. All you need to do now is to put this code in your sidebar text widget:
<a href="URL OF WHERE YOU WANT TO LINK TO"><img src="http://www.moneyedpoliticians.com/Front%20Cover-75dpi-JPEG.jpg"></a>Put in the correct URL for your link and it should work. -
