image in text widget
-
Hi guys and ladies,
I know this question has been bought up before…I have read them all and tried all the advise offered in them
I have also read the how to put an image into a text widget and how to upload an image.
I have created a new text widget
I have added this code
<img src=”http://tammytempleton.files.wordpress.com/2008/08/sewprettyhomestyle.jpg >
which is exactly the same as described in the how to upload an image
I’ve also tried
<img src=”http://tammytempleton.files.wordpress.com/2008/08/sewprettyhomestyle.jpg”/>
The image has been uploaded to my image gallery and saved as a thumbnail
I click on the SAVE button
view my page and the image isn’t there and all that is in the widget is <img>
It doesn’t have any javascript or forms so I can’t find what I’m doing wrong :(
Sorry to bring this question up againTIA

woohoo!
I figured it out
I started a new post
used the image uploader
inserted the image into my post
looked in the HTML view and copied this
<img class=”size-medium wp-image-470″ title=”sew” src=”http://tammytempleton.wordpress.com/files/2008/08/sew.jpg?w=150″ alt=”Sew Pretty Homestyle” width=”150″ height=”194″ />
Its a bit more code than what the tutorial says but it worked :)
