Image Insert Problem

Hi everyone, i have one problem. I have added to my Blog image (http://macx.110mb.com/3D/BMW_1000.jpg) And there’s code “<img ALT=”Good image” SRC=”http://macx.110mb.com/3D/BMW_1000.jpg” />”. But it’s not appeared. please check http://procreation.wordpress.com/.

no, this doesn’t help. There’s say how to upload image From PC to Blog, but i have already Upload them to another Server, and just want to insert link to them in my blog

your code is a bit messed up! try it like this:<img SRC=”http://macx.110mb.com/3D/BMW_1000.jpg” ALT=”Good image” />
please note that the alt goes after the image file extension! :D

this might be because your blog doesn’t allow a 640 pixel wide image. it looked like that theme allows smaller images. i wonder if that could be the reason?
do you know how to resize images? this post tells you how to resize images online and offline before uploading them:

in quentin 470 pixel is the limit for images. your car image is 640 pixels!

OK, I tested the following with your template and it works:
<img src="http://macx.110mb.com/3D/BMW_1000.jpg" style="width:450px;" alt="nice image" />(actually it would be better if you upload a smaller version of the image to the server and skip the style attribute). The sequence of the attributes in a html tag is irrelevant.

i tried posting your image in a test blog, by applying the quentin theme. and it didn’t appear. but i posted a smaller image and i had no problem!
so i bet if you keep it under 470 pixels, you’ll be ok!
do tell us if the peoblem is solved!

if someone wants to resize images after they are uploaded then this is the way to do it in our wordpress.com blogs! :D -
got it!
please rename your file and upload it again! choose a simple name like car or 3dcar or something and resize the image and then try it.

sanjidabd, you can use both css or (x)html attributes, believe me, the result is in both cases that the image is resized after downloading and this might affect performance, so the best way is to link a smaller image. By the way, uploading a bigger image only leads (in Quentin) to a “cut” on the right side, but it still shows.
