Image inserting with Zoundry blog client

Zoundry blog client supports three ways of inserting images. One is to drag and drop an image file from local hard drive onto the editor window. The other is to insert an image url on a remote server like flickr. I tried both ways to insert images in my posts but both failed.

The third way uses an FTP server, which I don’t have an account with, so I couldn’t test it.

The first two methods worked fine with my other non-wordpress blog accounts. Could any one tell me how to insert images with Zoundry and WordPress combination?

Got a link for Zoundry? Might help us help you if we knew what you were talking about, especially since you don’t mention how Zoundry actually makes the post to a blog or tell us what platforms it does work on.

A quick looksee shows that it requires FTP access. It would probably work on a regular WordPress blog hosted with a webhost but since we’re running WordPress MultiUser here which is a shared environment, ftp access is a security risk.

The remote server method should work but without seeing an example of a post where this was tried, there’s not a whole lot I can help with.

I see where they use the Blogger, MetaWeblog and MoveableType APIs to publish so a post should be publishing but IIFC none of those include support for actually sending over a picture with the post. Which one are you using?
