"image" is redundant

    How do I get rid of the word “image” that appears above nearly every post of mine that doesn’t have text? I have a photo blog. It is all IMAGES. Therefore, there is no need to signify that any given post is an “image” type, because all of them are. I would really, really like for the linked word “Image” not to appear above my wordless posts. Of all the utterly useless WordPress “innovations,” this particular signifier stands out as the most numbingly idiotic.

    By default your theme shows these for some of the post formats. If you try switching your posts from the image format to the standard format then the link to the format archive page shouldn’t appear.
