Image issues

  Hi. :) I have been having problems with my images for several weeks now. Other people can see the images just fine but i can not.

  Steps I have tried to resolve this:

  1. Cookie dance and dumping Private Data in Firefox 3.0.6 (private data has all boxes checked including cache.

  2. restarting my computer after closing browser and dumping private data.

  3. looking at it in IE7, the same thing happens with that.

  4. I have checked and rechecked my browser settings, and nothing seems to be amiss.

  Basically what it is doing is this:

  I upload an image and insert it into the post with captions and a description. I get a box with a broken link in it. Then I post it and others who checked the blog can see it but I cannot. The backgrounds are also uploaded into the media library and do not show up for me. The images in the media library show no thumbnail, and when I click view it takes me to the view page with a little blue placeholder. Snap shows a preview, but when I click the blue placeholder I get an error screen telling me that it can’t find the server.

  A few days ago I was able to intermittently see my images, but not since then.

  Any help with this is appreciated.

  to elaborate on the can’t find server thing, this is what it says:

  Firefox can’t find the server at libragear.files.wordpress.com.

  Hi. Sorry to bother all again. I am still having trouble with this. I contacted support and they checked it out for me, we both concluded that it is on my end. But I don’t know what it could be. The day that i contacted support the images all showed up in the library as well as on the blog, and in both IE and Firefox. Then I checked this morning and they disappeared again and I am having the same problem. Nothing has changed in my settings since yesterday. I am so frustrated over this. If anyone can give me a pointer as to how I can resolve this I would greatly appreciate it. :)

  ps I have my domain name forwarding to the blog, could that effect me and no one else?

  It would be useful if you gave us the domain you are forwarding so that we can check that out. Domain forwarding can be a problem.
