Image issues

    Hi Folks,
    I am having a problem with images. I first noticed the issue when I had trouble with featured images. Once a featured image is set it doesn’t appear. In actual fact it is there, but has a 1x1px size.

    Here are the symptoms:
    1. Newly uploaded images (Since 3.8 I think) don’t appear correctly in some places. They appear with a 1px x 1px size.
    2. Affected images have no preview in the media list.
    3. Old images appear and work fine.
    4. If you try to edit affected images it says no image can be found.

    Any thoughts on how I could fix this?

    So far I have tried:
    1. Disabling all plugins (Lost my old stats when I deactivated jetpack!)
    2. Uploading from several computers
    3. Pulling hair out.
