image link after migrating from msn space

hi, after migrating from msn space, some of my blog pics that are originally stored on msn’s web server are not transferred to wordpress. When I rick lick on the images and look at the source they remain to have original links. Is this a bug? thanks!

I got also the problem. All the pictures I uploaded to msn space are not transfered to this new space. I am really worrying about them now.

Only those images that were inserted into posts will be imported over with your Windows Live Space move.
If you are looking for your photo albums, you should still be able to find them at Windows Live Photos.

does it mean that the wordpress just can post blog, it hasn’t photo album function?

WordPress has a gallery function where you can post multiple images into either pages or posts in a grid arrangement. The images can be linked to open and show a larger version of the image. To use the gallery, you upload the images from within the post or page you want the images to appear on.

You’re welcome.
I’m still not entirely sure what is and is not going to be remaining of Live when all is said and done. If the photo albums are going to remain, and you are using a theme here that supports the custom menus, then you can link to those photo albums from within the menu system on your blog here if you wish (if they are publicly viewable).

Thanks very much! I created a gallery and linked the album of live to here. I don’t know what will be kept in live too. Anyhow here can show photos, that’s enough! :-)

You’re welcome, and it might be a good idea to start copying your images off of the photo albums over at Live.com for safe keeping if you do not have them saved on your computer already.
