image links have failed / no images visible on blog

Add topic to favorites
I signed up to mejuba last week and have uploaded images
however my wordpress blog which I have linked to the images on mejuba has twice in a week now ‘lost’ the links/images have failed?
[images on wordpress are now not visible]
why is this?
how do I prevent from happening going forward?

Well, what is “mejuba” in the first place?

If you want images to show on a WordPress.com blog upload them to wordpress.com.

wordpress has small space for image storage so decided to host images off site
as this is an option – to link via url [as with videos also]
I have a link to a youtube video which is also down

so not sure where the problem lies?

Appears it may be mejuba maintenance issues [is a newish site] as the youtube link is back up …

Sorry? WP gives you 3GB of free space for images and other files you upload. 3GB is enough for many thousands of (properly sized) images.

If you insert images stored elsewhere, your pages take longer to load, you have fewer options for manipulating the images, some bad browser versions may not display them correctly if the originals are wider than the maximum the theme accepts, and you run the risk of a no show if the other site is down, or if it takes to long to load, or if an image gets removed or relocated.
