image links not displaying

  Many of the images we link to are not displaying once the blog has been published.

  I am unable to duplicate the problem on our test blog. This post is a perfect example of our problem.

  All our image links from syndetic.com are not displayed on our four primary blogs.
  But as you can see from our test blog the images do display.

  Anyone have any ideas on why this is happening

  None of those “missing” images here https://acpladult.wordpress.com/2014/11/14/holiday-music-in-the-air/ appear to be hosted by WordPress.COM ie. they do not appear to have been uploaded into your Media Library. They appear to be third party hosted images.

  You are correct. We link to images on another server. The problem appears to be with JetPack for WordPress and the Photon plugin. Somehow WordPress is adding an additional domain prefix (i0.wp.com, i2.wp.com) to the link the browser is trying to pull the image from. View Source code from the browser and you will see this. We want to know if it is possible to disable this module so the images will be displayed correctly.
