Image load speed in wpcomstaging site

    This is my first WP site. I am currently developing a site in the wpcomstaging mode.

    Many of my images take a long time to load – especially sidebar. The image compression is good.

    Is this a common experience in the wpcomstaging site?

    The staging sites aren’t cached, to make developing the site far more efficient (you don’t have to purge a cache after every change), so you will definitely notice a huge speed improvement on the live site. :)
