Image location change

    On every other page the word category pops up next to the page titles on the top left. I’ve removed it before. Can I get a code to remove it again?

  • sometimes when I try to prep the images I still lose the quality

    Are you saying that your cropped image is a much lower quality than the original file?

    If so, do you notice this quality difference between the files on your computer before you upload the cropped image? If both of those are true, you might need to try different resizing software, or different settings with the software you have.

    If you are making the image larger, it will always lose quality. In that case you’ll need to start with a larger original image. However if you start with a large enough image to crop out a 730 wide by 836 high section, there shouldn’t be a significant difference in quality.

    I have seen some sites battle the issue of a crop post image, by when you actually click the image the full image is in the article… do you think that’s a wise way to get around it?

    Generally it is best to use the size that the theme developers have specified. Their recommendation is provided to help you get the best looking images for this theme.

    It doesn’t look like you are using the featured images on the view of the actual posts, but you could certainly upload the full version of the image as part of the content of the post. There’s really nothing wrong with doing that.

    Did you already sort that out? I’m not seeing that for here for example:

    Hey dCole here is what I’m talking about http://imgur.com/zZVPLu5

    When I would crop images, I would just use online crop or resize sites. I just want the full image to be displayed on the the pages. I just don’t want them to be different sizes. So what do you recommend?

    Hi, what you will have to do is to create a CSS rule for each category you have. You can use this as an example, which is for your Podcast Episode category.

    .category-podcast-episodes .page-title {
    	visibility: hidden;
    }
    .archive.category-podcast-episodes .page-title:after {
    	content: "Podcast Episodes";
    	visibility: visible;
    	float: left;
    }

    The category-podcast-episode can be found in the opening body html tag for each category page. Note that there is not a space between the “e” in archive and the period ( . ) preceding the category CSS class
