Image management in my blog

Your new format for blog posting is AWFUL. After five years and 350 posts on WordPRess, I logged in today and found a totally new format that is harder to use and makes it impossible to manage images. All I want to do is edit them by adding borders and opening the link in a new page. I’ve read your ‘how to’ article seven times and can not find the ‘Advance Options’ link described in it. Please HELP!
