Image missing in categories and archives

  I am new to wordpress. I created a post with an image. But when I view the post under “Categories” and “Archieves” only the text appears without the image. Also the text is in a different format to that of the post. Is this to be expected or can I view the post in “Categories” and “Archieves” as it is posted?

  Hi there,

  that depends on the theme and each theme works differently. If it’s important to you, I suggest you have a look through the other themes and see if you find one you like that does it.
