image not loading

  Image is not loading on my published post. The image loaded fine while the post was unpublished (this morning).
  It is only the HOME page. In another tab, images are displaying just fine.
  In Chrome there is a box with a caption and a broken icon inside instead of the image.
  In FF, no box, only the image caption.
  In IE, there is a box with a X in it and a caption.

  Any help would be much appreciated.

  Update.
  It seems that others could not view the image either.
  When I went back to Edit post in my dashboard this morning, the image was not displaying there (it was last thing yesterday).
  I deleted the image ( a Flickr image I had downloaded) and inserted a new one (one of mine). The new image is being displayed now.
  Does that mean that there is some special way of using Flickr images?
  Is it better to link to a Flickr image rather than download it to my media library?
  The Flickr image can still be seen in my media library.
