Image not showing correctly

  Hello. I was updating a post on my blog. When I published the post, I found that some images were not showing correctly.

  In the post there is the link (which is working) but the preview was not showing.

  And, interestingly, the problematic images were different in the homepage of my blog and in the specific link to my blog.

  I have tried to repost the photos and delete and reupload the photos. The problem persisted.

  I’ve also observed the same issue with my site. A thumbnail of a featured image for one of my galleries won’t load on the portfolio page (it displays the file name for the image instead), and a number of images don’t appear in the tiled galleries—although the do show up in the slideshow, and the blank space where the image should appear is “clickable.”

  Everything worked well until this morning, and the images are still accessible, if not always visible, so I’m inclined to see this as a temporary glitch.

  I spoke too soon about all of the images loading; several, including a featured image, fail to load at all. I’ve made no alterations to the images or the affected pages in the past 24 hours.

  A number of others are experiencing the same issue, so this is a problem on WP’s side.

  This is happening to my site today as well, but I assume it is a server issue that will be corrected soon.Theodore Wendel’s Ipswich

  It probably is. The files also fail to appear in the media library, so I hope that no data was lost.

  Just adding to the din of people saying there are image problems which seem to have started today or sometime overnight.
