Image not showing up on post anymore

  Hello. I just clicked on one of my recent posts (“Mindfulness and Dog Poop”) and the image that I put in the top left of the post no longer shows up. Can you help me with this? Thanks!

  Hello there,
  When you edit can you see the image code in the post or not? Is the image in your Media Library or not?

  When I edit, there is only a tiny box that shows where the picture used to be, and when I click on the box I get a bunch of code but no image. No, the image is no longer in my media library.

  In order to be displayed an Image must be in your Media Library. If it’s not there then when a visitor’s browser calls for it to be displayed there is nothing to display. I suggest that you make sure your optimize the image and presize it so it fits into the maximum displayed image width for your theme. Then edit the post remove the image code, insert the new image into the post and update the post.

  You’re welcome. :) Also note that if you do not optimize and presize your images offline before you upload them and the cropper comes into play then image quality will be lost.
