image not showing when inserting into blog post?

i am a novice user, posts i have done before have worked but now when i try to add a pic it does not show i just get a red cross. Can me some advice please!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are your using an IE browser? If so may I suggest that you switch to Firefox? I’m suggesting this because what you (no image & red X) describe is what IE browsers frequently produce.

thanks for replying, in general i dont like firefox. Is it something i can just switch to/between when i need to for the purpose of wordpress as happy to do that!! also why if i was able to blog with pics before in IE whats changed that i cant now lol!!!

There are issues with IE browsers and I’m aware of that due to the numerous forum threads. If you are solution orientated then try troubleshooting first.
Try changing your browser settings, refreshing the page, or clearing the browser cache and cookies – instructions for specific browsers.
- Note that when you make adjustments to your browser settings — changing privacy settings, deleting cookies or increasing security — you will need to close your window and restart the browser before those new settings become effective.
And if that does not work then switch browsers and enjoy the solution others have found.

I confirm. In Firefox 4 images in posts don’t show up with mistylook (just shadowed frame with the alt name).
It shows up in IE7 and that’s the only free theme of the 10+ I’ve tried that does that.
Let’s hope Sadish will fix this soon… ;-) -
Thank you for the replies, i have downloaded firefox and hey presto did my log post with ease, so in future will just select that browser when blogging!!

This has nothing whatsoever to do with Sadish. There is a cross browser compatibility issue. I am using Firefox 3.6.17 without and problems whatsoever. Thanks for the heads up about FF4.@totsandtiddlerstoys
I’m so glad to hear you are up and running on Firefox. Staff is aware of the browser compatibility issues. They have many support tickets and I assume they will be addressing this as soon as they can. -
All right! Thanks for the swift reply. I’ll wait for an update from Mozilla.
For now, I have installed IE Tab 2 extension to display my blog with IE engine. It works like a breeze! -
