Image Numbering for reference in comments.

  I am trying to find the plug-in that will number my images so they can be referenced in the comments section. A great example is thechive.com. If you check out any of their galleries, you will notice that they have each image numbered, and then can be referenced individually in the comments. I have been looking for a while, to no avail.
