Image of the post not appearing on Facebook

When I publish my posts the image of my post does not appear on the Facebook page linked to my blog. Instead I get picture of me from my World Press account and the content of the post. What should I do? It used to work well I don’t do anything differently.

Hi there,
If you set a featured image in your post, it will appear when you share the post on Facebook. You can do this by going to edit your Post. On the bottom right hand side, you can upload a featured image from your computer or your Media Library. You can find more information about this here:

Hi, Unfortunately I deleted the featured image from my post because I didn’t like the look of it on my blog. I am just about to publish post on my blog so will add the Featured Image to it. Thanks a lot!

Just published it and it worked – the only thing is the look of it on my blog – I now have to the same pictures for the post. Can i delete the Futured Image now?

Hi there,
You can deleted the Featured Image if you want. Please note that the Featured Image in the Visual Theme supports alternative Featured Images such as the thumbnails: 326 wide on index, archive, and search.
If you only want the Featured Image to show up when you share the post on Facebook and not show up in the post, you can now delete the Featured Image after you share.
